Frequently asked questions.
- Do people need an app or an account?
- No. Everyone adds a message from the link in their phone’s browser, and the person you’re celebrating watches it the same way. Only the organizer needs a free account.
- Can they see it before the day?
- No. Until the day and time you choose, their link only shows a countdown.
- How do they get it?
- You send them their private link however you like, or we email it to them at the time you chose. It only opens then.
- What if people forget to add a message?
- Post the ready-made reminder in the group chat. The evening before usually works best. If you invited people by email, one tap reminds only the ones still missing.
- What can people add?
- A video or voice note up to 1 minute long (3 minutes if you keep it forever), up to 10 photos with a few words, or a written message. They can also add old photos, one word that describes the person, and answers to a “Who knows them best?” quiz.
- What if more than 10 people add a message?
- Nobody gets left out. A moment can hold up to 150 messages. The free video includes 10 of them, and for €10 it includes everyone.
- How long does a free moment last?
- 30 days after the day. If you have an account, we email you a week before it’s deleted, and again the day before.
- Is it only for family?
- No. It works for friends, coworkers, classes, teams and neighbors. Anyone who wants to send someone a message together.
