How do I build a moment for someone’s big day?

Tap Build a moment on thisfeeling.app, type their name, what the day is and when they should get it, and sign in with your email. It takes about 30 seconds and is free for up to 10 messages in the video.

How do I get everyone to add a message?

Post the invite link in the group chat where everyone already talks, or invite people by email so each person gets their own link. Then remind the ones who haven’t added a message yet.

How does the person I’m celebrating get their link on the day?

The person you’re celebrating has their own private link. You can send it to them yourself, or give us their email and we’ll send it at the exact time it opens.

How do I choose the day and time, and can I change them later?

You pick the day and time when you build the moment, and their private link opens at exactly that time. You can change it later in Edit the details.

How do I arrange the video: order, trimming and hiding a message?

As the organizer, you can drag the messages into any order, trim the start and end of each one, hide a message, and preview the video exactly as the person you’re celebrating will see it.

What happens when a free moment reaches 10 messages?

Accepted Answer

Nobody is turned away. A moment can hold up to 150 messages, and the free video plays 10 of them. The rest are kept and join the video if someone keeps it forever.

How do I add a video, voice note, photos or a written message?

Tap the invite link, choose what you want to send, and record, upload or type it right in your browser. There’s no app to download and no account to make.

Which phones and computers work, and what if recording doesn’t start?

You add your message in the web browser on your phone or computer, with no app to install. If the camera won’t start, it’s almost always a permission setting.

Can I change or delete my message?

You can change it if you signed in when you added it. Open the invite link again, sign in, and choose Change my message, until messages close.

How do I watch my video, on my phone or on the TV?

Open the private link you were sent and, at the chosen time, press play. Everyone’s messages play one after another as one video, right in your browser, with no app or account.

Who can see a moment?

Only the people in a moment can see it: the group making it and the person it’s for. A moment is the group video plus the private page with everyone’s messages.

What happens after 30 days, and how do I download?

On Free, a moment stays online for 30 days after the day and is then deleted for good, unless someone keeps it forever. Before then, you can download the messages.

What does Keep it forever include, and who pays?

Keep it forever is one payment of €10 before the day, or €19 after, that keeps the whole moment online for everyone in it, for as long as thisfeeling exists.

Can I get a refund or an invoice?

Keep it forever starts the moment you pay, so there are no refunds, except where the law gives you a right to one.

How do old photos, one word and the quiz work?

They’re three extras the organizer can switch on next to the messages: a timeline of old photos, a word cloud made from one word per person, and a quiz about the person being celebrated.
