Christmas gift for grandparents

A Christmas video from every grandchild.

Grandkids, children and in-laws each record a short message with one link. On Christmas morning, or whenever you choose, it plays as one video for the grandparents.

Why it works for grandparents.

  • Every grandchild, wherever they live

Cousins in different states can all add a message from the same link. Nobody has to be home for the holidays to be in it.

  • Easy for them to watch

No app and no account. They open one link, press play, and every message plays in order.

  • Something they’ll watch again

After the video, every message stays on a private page. With Keep it forever, it stays for good and plays on the TV.

See what they’ll get.

A 40-second example from a 70th birthday, with eight messages. The people in it are made up.

Read what they say
Sofie:
Mom. Seventy! We couldn’t all be there this morning, so we’re all here.
Jonas:
Happy birthday, Grandma! Thank you for teaching me to drive… and sorry about the mailbox.
Birthe:
(written) Still the best laugh in any room.
Teresa:
Ingrid! Fifty years… and you still owe me a dance. Happy birthday, from Lisbon!
Lars:
Happy birthday, big sister. Call me when you’ve stopped crying.
Amara:
…but this could not wait!
Oskar:
Windy, but worth it!
Anders:
Forty years ago, you hired a very nervous young man. Thank you, boss.

How it works.

  1. Create a moment

Add their names and when it should open, for example Christmas morning at 9:00 AM.

  2. Share the link in the family chat

Kids record with a parent’s phone. No app, no sign-up.

  3. They watch it on Christmas

One video with every message, each showing who it’s from.

Not sure what to say?

Pick an idea and say it in your own words. A minute is plenty. You can also write it, or send a photo with a few words.

  • Your favorite thing about Christmas at their house.

  • Something you made this year. Hold it up to the camera.

  • What you’d like to do together next time you visit.

  • Sing a Christmas song, any one you like.

  • Tell them one thing you’ve never said out loud.

  • Your favorite memory of them from this year.

  • One thing you’re thankful to them for this year.

  • Merry Christmas, from wherever you are right now.

Common questions.

When should I start?
Two to three weeks before Christmas works well. It gives busy families time to record, and you can post the ready-made reminder in the family chat the evening before messages are due.
Can small children add a message?
Yes. A parent holds the phone. Waving, singing or holding up a drawing all work.
Do the grandparents need an app or an account?
No. They just open their link. It works on a phone, tablet or computer.
Can it open on Christmas morning?
Yes. Choose the day and the exact time. Until then, their link only shows a countdown.
What if more than 10 people want to add a message?
Nobody gets left out, and every message is saved. The free video includes 10 of them. For €10, one person unlocks every message for everyone.
Can we watch it together on the TV?
Yes, with Keep it forever (€10 before the day). On Free, they can watch it on a phone, tablet or computer.

Every grandchild, in one Christmas video.
