Why it works for a 70th.

  • Friends from every decade

People they’ve known for fifty years can add a message from wherever they live now. One link, about a minute each.

  • Easy for everyone

No app and no account. A voice note or a few written words work too, for anyone who’d rather not be on camera.

  • Something they can go back to

After the video, every message stays on a private page, along with any old photos people added. With Keep it forever, it stays for good.

See what they’ll get.

A 40-second example from a 70th birthday, with eight messages. The people in it are made up.

Sofie:
Mom. Seventy! We couldn’t all be there this morning, so we’re all here.
Jonas:
Happy birthday, Grandma! Thank you for teaching me to drive… and sorry about the mailbox.
Birthe:
(written) Still the best laugh in any room.
Teresa:
Ingrid! Fifty years… and you still owe me a dance. Happy birthday, from Lisbon!
Lars:
Happy birthday, big sister. Call me when you’ve stopped crying.
Amara:
…but this could not wait!
Oskar:
Windy, but worth it!
Anders:
Forty years ago, you hired a very nervous young man. Thank you, boss.

How it works.

  1. Create a moment

Add their name, their birthday and the time they should get it. It takes about 30 seconds.

  2. Share the link in the group chat

Everyone records a message on their phone. No app, no sign-up.

  3. They watch it on their birthday

One video with every message, each showing who it’s from.

Not sure what to say?

Pick an idea and say it in your own words. A minute is plenty. You can also write it, or send a photo with a few words.

  • A memory from when you were small that they might have forgotten.

  • Something they taught you that you’ve taught your own kids.

  • What you understand about them now.

  • A thank-you they never got.

  • Tell them one thing you’ve never said out loud.

  • Something that always makes you think of them.

  • A toast, as if you were at the table together.

  • What you’ve learned from them, even if they don’t know it.
